Hi everyone, so the ‘Ho Ho Ho’ season is about to be launched on us. Have a great time and it’s okay to eat the mince pies and have that extra brandy and so on. There are times when we need to indulge so why not. So often we think about putting on weight and having a bad head and that might affect training/ racing. If this is the case then look at your training and racing commitments and see how realistic it is to change things around to suit the social demands. Think outside the box as to how you can manage Christmas and all it entails. The other thing to remember is that some of our families may not be athletes so consider – they may not know what a PB is. Chill and taking a back seat may the the order if the day , especially if it is a movie you have seen 20 times ; you could sit there quietly and think about what lies ahead in 2020 and how you can fund yourself for a race abroad. Whatever you maybe doing and you could be working on Christmas Day have a lovely time and see you all again in the New Year.
Have a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I am around over the festivities so if you want to touch base and ask and questions then feel free to drop me a line.
